How the Motability Scheme works

WHO CAN ORDER?

To be able to order a vehicle you must be:

Eligible to join or already a member of the Motability Scheme. This includes parents/guardians of someone receiving relevant allowances.
Have at least 12 months award remaining on your benefit.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

Put simply, you exchange all or part of your mobility allowance to lease the vehicle you choose.

Things to know:

Payments are deducted from your allowance every four weeks and paid directly to the Motability Scheme.
Some vehicles will require an Advance Payment, which is not included in your mobility allowance.

BENEFITS OF MOTABILITY SCHEME

Motability cars are offered on a 3 year Contract Hire Lease Agreement. Which includes:

A brand new vehicle every 3 years, or every 5 years for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) from Wingrove.
Insurance for up to 3 named drivers
Servicing and maintenance at your local Wingrove dealership
Windscreen and Tyre repair or replacement
