Position Overview:

As a Vehicle Technician at Wingrove, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. Your responsibilities will include performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, adhering to high-quality standards and maintaining a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, family-like atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
  • Complete electrical and engine repair work
  • Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary.
  • Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out.
  • Using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand.
  • Ability to complete Vehicle Health Checks
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised, and safe from hazards to health and safety.

  • Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification, however Technicians with Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification, with relevant experience, will also be considered.
  • Experience in either a main dealership or independent garage
  • Possess a positive / can-do attitude.
  • Be enthusiastic, respectful, and friendly to other colleagues.
  • Have an honest and diligent approach to work
  • A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential
